We always have each other’s back!
Hello all you fabuless people. Winter is practically upon us so we wanted to take this opportunity to show you some of our fabuless, thrifted and gifted outerwear.
Our city’s annual Christmas on the Cumberland is currently helping to spread Christmas cheer and Vicky and I along with friends decided to bundle up and partake in the festivities. The light displays were beautiful, Christmas music was being played and kids from 1 to 92 were out enjoying the scene. We hope you enjoy the lights and our looks.
I love my pink coat by Gamiss. Purchased at Goodwill. I think that it has a vintage 1960’s feel to it and the pink makes me think Barbie. Definitely feel like a girly girl wearing it!
White coat by Real Comfort from GW. Black boots with fur by REPORT from GW.
The fur vest was a gift from a friend. The vest is by Green Tea.
Teresa and her bestie Kim. Kimmy is also a thrifty gal. Her cute dress was purchased at GW!
Just us being silly. It is always fun when we get together!
Vicky changed up her look with a colorful red scarf purchased at….you guessed it, Goodwill!
My white scarf is also from Goodwill along with my disco ball earrings(Actually they are Christmas ornaments) Hey sometimes a girl has to get creative to be fabulous!
Black Pea Coat by 1 Madison purchased at Goodwill. Black wedge heeled boots by Rampage purchased at Clothes Mentor. Blue and white scarf is a handmade gift from Jenny. She knows what a Kentucky Wildcat fan likes to wear! GO BIG BLUE!
Oh the weather outside is frightful…
Ice Skaters slipping and sliding
We thought this light display resembled a giant margarita glass, but of course that could be wishful thinking on our part!
Reflections on the river.
Lights twinkling brightly.
We have to wonder where she got that fabulous frock. Hope she thrifted it and got it at a fabuless price!
We want to say a special thank you to our amazing photographer, friend, and sister, Kimberly Caldwell of Angel on My Shoulder Photography for helping us out with this photoshoot. Check out some of her wonderful photographs and her stories on her website, flipside fairytales etc, on wordpress.com.
Till next time don’t forget to be thrifty and stay fabuless!
