Hello to all you nifty, thrifty shoppers out there. We hope you all have been doing well and have been doing lots of thrift shopping and finding loads of fabuless fashion finds! It has been a while since we posted, but I wanted to let you all in on the latest news about Vicky’s beautiful jewelry creations.
Last week Vicky entered one of her beautifully designed bracelets in the Downtown Artist Co-op, Artist Walk show. The piece was entitled Turn Me On. It is a silver bracelet featuring charms including a key, rhinestone charm, red lips, and a mini light switch. It is absolutely gorgeous and evidently the judges agreed as Vicky came away with an Honorable Mention award in the category of 3D and fiber arts.
Vicky, her sister Kimmy and I all enjoyed a nice evening at the Co-op gallery taking in all the splendid accomplishments of local artists in the area. Refreshments of wine, beer, cheese and other delicacies helped to buoy the spirits of those attending the show.
I also wanted to let everyone know that Vicky who has had bracelets sold at The Clothesline , a charming local boutique and consignment store, now also has her own etsy store. It is TransformsJewlery. If you would like to have a piece that is unique and one of a kind for yourself or a fellow gem lover, this is the place to get it! And don’t forget it’s never too early to get a start on that holiday shopping.
Check back with us again, as we hope to have more shopping tales and pics too. Until then be thrifty and stay fabuless!
